Dogs Can Be A Cut Above At New Barber Shop

Dogs in the Ards area can be a cut above the rest with the opening of a new barber shop for canines.

‘Doggie Barber Shop’, which offers a complete dog grooming service, has begun polishing pooches at Belfast Road, Comber, using high tech equipment including a walk in bath, adjustable grooming table, safety hip supporting harnesses and quiet drying equipment, which makes the experience more pleasurable for nervous or elderly dogs. Complimentary nail and ear care are also included.

Council Stickin’ It To Your Bins!

Ards Borough Council is stickin’ it to you – your bins, in fact – over the next two weeks, as part of the on-going campaign to keep local people informed about new bin collections.

Stickers have begun appearing on grey bins across the Ards to remind residents that, from Monday 2nd June, Ards is switching to an ‘alternate weekly collection’ system, meaning that one week grey bins will be collected and the next week blue bins will be collected.
