FRI 27 - SUN 29 APRIL, BALLYGRAFFAN HORSE TRIALS, COMBER
Ballygraffan International Horse Trials is back, and the event moves from strength to strength both in terms of a sporting competition and as a great day out. The superb world-class course designed by internationally renowned Hugh Lochore and built by the Willis Brothers of Badminton and Olympic fame, is set in the beautiful Strangford Lough Conservation Area in the picturesque undulating drumlin country of Co. Down.
The 2-day event welcomes international and local riders, and will feature Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross-Country competitions. Course improvements have continued since the last event and spectators will enjoy several new and challenging fences in each class. The successful Market Village area will return and has proved to have something for everyone. So, walk the course, watch the fancy dress 'Fun Run' on Sunday, have some delicious gourmet food and enjoy the thrill of the competition.
This event provides an ideal day-out for all… horse enthusiasts and spectators alike can enjoy the entertainment of this challenging and exciting competition whilst partaking of the hospitality and a fun day out.
