Want to help your child improve agility, balance and co-ordination or their sport skills like running, jumping, throwing, catching and striking, so they can progress in the sport of their choice? Then sign them up for one of Ards Borough Council’s sports clubs and you could be on to a winner!
Two new ‘Multi skills’ programmes are starting in September, in Newtownards the ‘South East Seals’ and Kircubbin ‘Multi Skills Kids’. Both will involve games based on running, striking, catching, leaping, kicking, power, strength, agility, balance and hand to eye co-ordination. Thus helping your child to develop either as a participant or a performance athlete
The South East Seals will be at Ards Leisure Centre on Thursday Afternoons, from 4pm - 5pm, in three blocks at a cost of £1 per session (or £24 for 24 sessions)
Block 1
Each Thursday: 27th September 2007 - 15th November 2007
Block 2
Each Thursday: 10thJanuary 2008 - 28th February 2008
Block 3
Each Thursday: 10th April 2008 - 29th May 2008
The Multi Skills Kids at Kircubbin Community Centre and will be aimed at 7-9 years and delivered on a Monday afternoon from 4pm - 5pm. This club will be delivered in two blocks. Cost £1 per session (£16 for 16 sessions)
